Demojura is software: a platform for law firms that want to bring AI into their practice, and for people who want to understand the law in their everyday lives. Demojura itself does not offer legal services, does not employ attorneys to advise the public, and is not a lawyer referral service. Any legal service a person receives through a firm that uses Demojura comes from that firm and its licensed lawyers, under the rules that bind them.

About the AI on This Site

Jura, Speak With Lincoln and the Firm MRI are tools on this site. Jura and Speak With Lincoln are AI tools for learning about the law and its history. They are not lawyers, they do not know the facts of your situation, and they can be wrong. Speak With Lincoln is a portrayal grounded in historical writings, not Abraham Lincoln, and nothing it says is legal advice. Neither one can keep a confidence: please do not share the details of a legal matter with them. The Firm MRI is a self-assessment about how a firm operates, built from the firm’s own answers; it is not legal advice.

The product pages on this site, including Conversations, My File, Deadline Watch and Cite Check, describe Demojura’s tools, and the screenshots on this site use fictional names and matters. Tools for people give general information and help people organize and reach a lawyer, never advice about their own matter. Tools for firms prepare work for licensed lawyers, who remain responsible for everything their firm sends, files or signs.
